AQUACHLOR-GEN - 100       8 Hours Batch Type
We Introduce ourselves as leading manufacture  of Water Treatment Plants in Western Region.  Generally, Water Disinfection process done by Chlorine Gas, Bleaching Power, readymade Hypochlorite Solution. In this regards we introduces on-site Hypochlorite Generators AQUACHLOR-GEN TM Electrochlorinator for your ready reference. There are two types of Models:-

      Models:  AQUACHLOR-GEN - 100       8 Hours Batch Type
      Models:  AQUACHLOR-GENTM – 500       Continuous Types
WHAT IS ON – SITE ELECTROCHLORINATION?

It is a simple and proven technology to convert ordinary salt (or sea water), by  means of electrolysis into 1st grade sodium hypochlorite (ELECTRO HYPO). It is always applied on-site, at the Point of Application. No chemicals other than ordinary salt are used throughout the process.
A diluted brine solution (or sea water) is fed through an electrolyser cell. When a low voltage DC current is applied, electrolysis occurs and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is generated instantaneously ELECTRO HYPO is generated between 0.2% and 0.8% depending on the application. Below 1%, Hypo is classified as a non-hazardous chemical although still a very effective disinfectant. The only by-product, hydrogen, is safely vented into the atmosphere
WHY ON – SITE ELECTROCHLORINATION?

It is the preferred water disinfection /anti-biofouling option if compared to GASEOUS CHLORINE and COMMERCIAL HYPO when considering -

Safety    Economy        Convenience      Environmental protection

It is the ultimate and most versatile chlorine based water disinfection option for

Small and large water treatment works
Hi-tech and low-tech installations
First and Third World countries

The potential risks associated with the bulk transport, bulk storage and handling of hazardous chemicals (GASEOUS CHLORINE and COMMERCIAL HYPO) is totally elliminated with on-site electrochlorination. It is the preferred substitute,
and ...... the future of all water chlorination is on-site electrochlorination as it is the most sensible option when considering Economy, Safety, Convenience and Environmental Protection

AQUACHLOR- GENTM –100 Designed for small capacities. Its operational simplicity allows its use even in rural areas. System  discription

    • Install the electrochlorinator at a suitable place.
    • Connect the power cables between rectifier output terminal and the electrolyser.
Note : ensure that the positive output of the rectifier is connected to anode and negative is connected to cathode of the electrolyser, respectively.
  • Plug the rectifier input cable to a single phase 50hz, 220v, 15
  • Amps socket with proper earth connection.
  • Add 4.5 k.g. Of salt into a separate container and prepare a fine brine solution. Allow the solution to settle down for 5-10 minutes. Do not disturb the tank.
  • Gently Transfer The Prepared Solution Into Another Tank Having A Cloth Filter (Take Care To Remove The Suspended Particles Settled At The Bottom During The Transfer).
  • Transfer The Brine Solution Into The Electrochlorination  Tank Through A Filter Provided In The Tank.
  • Fill The Tank With 140 Ltrs. Of Water (Approximately) Upto The Mark.
  • Switch On The Rectifier Unit And Adjust The Current Output To 100 Amps Using A Suitable Knob.
  • Run The Unit For 8 Hrs.  A Timer Gives Alarm. Switch Off The Unit.
  • 8.0 Gms/Lt. (Approximately) Of Chlorine In The Form Of Neutral Sodium Hypochlorite Solution Is Now Ready To Be Used.

    • Remove The Solution From The Tank Immediately After The Batch Completion And Pass A Jet Of Water To The Electrode Is Clean.
